How to Learn Math: For Teachers and Parents
I completed the online course run by Jo Boaler through Stanford University, course XEDUC115N . During the course I was required to watch videos, post responses, and write short essays on what I learned through the course and how that learning impacted my beliefs. I highly encourage other math teachers to work through the course, it was well worth the time.

This convention has many sessons to choose from from all disciplines and areas of interest. Each year I ensure I get to at least one mathematics session, one session on a new way to teach, and one session just for fun. I have been going to sessions for the last 13 years so there are too many sessions to list here.
